Once on a Hillside

Three hillside scenes

First, once on a hillside,
People were gathered, Hoping to see Him, as thousands were fed
He touched the blind eyes, healed broken spirits,
He moved with compassion, while He raised up the dead.

The feeding of the five thousand,   is reported by all four gospels (Matthew 14-Matthew 14:13-21; Mark 6-Mark 6:31-44; Luke 9-Luke 9:12-17; John 6-John 6:1-14).

Second, once on a hillside,
people were gathered
Watching as Jesus was crucified, No one showed mercy, to the one who had healed them,
Yet, Jesus loved them, as He suffered and died

The crucifixion of Jesus is recorded in the New Testament books, in the bible, known as the Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. This story is the central summary of the saving Gospel of Jesus.

32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. 33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Luke 23:32-33

Thirdly, Once on a hillside, people were gathered, For Jesus had risen and soon would
ascend, But then as He blessed them, He rose to the Heavens, And He gave them this
promise: He'd come back again. Acts 1:9-11
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud
received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he
went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 which also said, Ye men of
Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you
into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Three hillside scenes recorded in the bible, GOD's holy word for you and me.

The feeding of the five thousand, his miracle of love and compassion. Then His crucifixion on
hill far away, stood the old rugged cross, where Jesus died for you and, really for ALL, whosoever
that believe in Him. And His resurrection, rising from the dead, to live and intercede for us at the
right hand of the Heavenly Father.

this and the bible is where I got my thoughts and ideas)
