He must needs to through Samaria

When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, (though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) he left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee. And he must needs go through Samaria.

And He must needs go through Samaria. John 4:4

By Rev. Dennis Bottom ( a preacher friend and childhood friend of mine)

Samaria was a region that lay between Judea and Galilee. For a number of historical reasons, devout Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans. They considered them half-breeds and unclean. To avoid contact, traveling Jews would often take a much longer route to bypass Samaria. Yet in this passage, Jesus left Judea for Galilee and the Bible says “He must needs go through Samaria.” Why?

Because there was a woman there who needed His help. Because there was a whole village there who needed to know Him. I thank God this morning that Jesus left the portals of Heaven and came to earth to live among us. Why? Because I needed His help. Because I and others needed to know Him. Praise God, Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost!

Thank you Brother Dennis for this minute message, may God bless you, And now  you can see one example of Christ's great love,

For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

May God Bless you friend,

Rev Dan
