10000th pageview

10000th page view

I was looking at my blog stats and older post the other day and found where I had not written a blog post on my 10,000th view, WOW!! Who would have thought it!!

While I started this blog in 2011, it was not until September of that year I really caught on to what the Lord would have me do with this blog and the viewing numbers started to increase.  Along with that the stats on how many countries that viewed caught my attention too.  As google blog stats shows the blog post views, and the audience with their country. I have said this many times, it makes this old southern country preacher boy very excited to see the stats from countries around the world viewing this blog.

“Reaching outside of the walls of the church”, I am convince this is my ministry for now. Using social media to promote the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, while teaching God’s word, way and wisdom.

Truly it is my desire to see many saved / born again and for them find a good church to attend on the Lord’s Day, Sunday. You will need fellowship and friendship with the church. I am just a seed planter and the seed is the word of God. Some seeds will fall on shallow ground and die from no depth; some will fall but get choked up from  other thoughts and ideas, but praise the Lord, some with fall on good ground and will take root and flourish.  See Matt. 13:1-8

So not having written anything about the 10k blog view, was sort of my doings and idea, as I do remember thinking I will wait until the numbers increase a little pass 10,000 and then say or write something.

So let’s do the math, years, month and daily averages, 10000 views over a five year period, which average 2000 views a year, which average 166.6 monthly and 5.5 daily in a 30 day period. (Well, not to bad and may I say it could be better)

But the biggest number will be shown in heaven for the ones that got saved and the ones that this gospel blog helped.  I praise the Lord for it. By the way, the word of God has a written in success, as promised in the Old Testament, in Isaiah 55:11,in that, as the word of God goes out it will not return void or empty, but accomplish its work, just like the rain and I says for that  Praise-the-Lord!!

But dear friend, what about your soul's salvation?? Are you saved, have you been born again, if not, please call on the good Lord today and He will save you, and God is dealing with about serving Him, please do so, work out with a church of your choice.

In Jesus name, A-men,
Rev. Dan

It pays to serve God

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Josh 24:15

The other day, I heard a message about singer who had turned her life over to Lord to serve Him. She got a musical education in college and she sung with several small groups in high school and college. She got her break by seeing a late night commercial searching for talent. She saw the commercial, mailed them a tape with three song and some pictures. So she moved to Nashville and sung backup with several known groups in the 1980s. While in Nashville she went and sung at a local jail. She helped a boyfriend and they ministered to those in jail.

Then she hit rock bottom. Drugs and alcohol had taken over her life and she went home back to her home church and got right with the Lord. She got married and had two children, two girls and moved to Atlanta with her family.  After a couple of years at their new home they needed some trees to be cut down in their yard. So she called a tree service and the men came out to do the job. As she pointed to trees that she and husband wanted to have cut down and she noticed one of men was particularly staring at her, it kind of gave her the creeps but the man seem very polite.

So she went back into the house and of course, she heard a lot of sawing and cutting. Later that day the job was done by the men. One of them asked if she would inspect one the tree stumps. It was a very odd request but she did. One man was standing over the tree stump said look here and he had carved a cross in the tree stump. He said you probably do not remember me, but I remember you when you and a boyfriend came by the jail to sing and minister to us, well I GOT SAVED that night and became a Christian. And I have always prayed that God would allow me to see you again to let you know that I got saved.

Well, How about that!! God answered his pray and she rejoiced in the Lord for what she did for God many years ago. Isn’t God good!! Truly it pays to serve the Lord!!

He must needs to through Samaria

When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, (though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) he left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee. And he must needs go through Samaria.

And He must needs go through Samaria. John 4:4

copied and pasted
By Rev. Dennis Bottom ( a preacher friend and childhood friend of mine)

Samaria was a region that lay between Judea and Galilee. For a number of historical reasons, devout Jews had no dealings with the Samaritans. They considered them half-breeds and unclean. To avoid contact, traveling Jews would often take a much longer route to bypass Samaria. Yet in this passage, Jesus left Judea for Galilee and the Bible says “He must needs go through Samaria.” Why?

Because there was a woman there who needed His help. Because there was a whole village there who needed to know Him. I thank God this morning that Jesus left the portals of Heaven and came to earth to live among us. Why? Because I needed His help. Because I and others needed to know Him. Praise God, Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost!

Thank you Brother Dennis for this minute message, may God bless you, And now  you can see one example of Christ's great love,

For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

May God Bless you friend,

Rev Dan

Jesus of Nazareth

Jesus of Nazareth, I am He.

Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. John 18:5

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Rom. 8:29

Or the AMP says,
For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification]

As I was listening to the bible being read to me from bible App, which is connected to the aux port of my car radio, as I was going to work.  These words jumped out to me, and God spoke to heart and mind.

In John 18 Jesus was about the carried off by Judas with priest and Pharisees. The disciples asked “Whom seek ye” and they said , “Jesus of Nazareth” Jesus said, “I am He” and my mind went back to Paul’s writing in Romans 8 where we, as believers are to be conformed to the image of His dear son.
So if we ask the question, “Jesus of Nazareth, ARE WE LIKE HIM?? Are we really like Him?? Do we act like Him, in our words and ways??  It’s a sobering thought!!

We are in Him and He is supposed to be in us (in our heart) but are we like Him??
This will take dedication and separation on our part as we trust Him, but basically we can start, after salvation, after we are saved, we start with prayer and bible study. Also, add fellowship with other saints or believers.

For some it will “click” automatically, but for others we will have to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord. (Hey, if the Apostle Peter said too, then we should as well, and heed his words, see II Peter  3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Friend you are as close to God as you want to be, but turn ye unto God and He will turn unto you. Sin will keep you from the bible but the bible will keep you from sin.

Call on Him today.
God Bless you Friend,

Rev. Dan
