Seeking Jesus Christ

Seeking the LORD JESUS CHRIST

And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:

21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. John 12:20-21
When seeking Jesus Christ;

First you are seeking a Child which was born of the virgin Mary.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
see Matthew 1:21-23

Second, you seek one who was baptized.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. see John 1:29-31

Thirdly, you seek a prophet, teacher and healer.

Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. see John 3:1-2

Fourthly, you seek the crucified one.

24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.26 And the superscription of his accusation was written over, The King Of The Jews. 27 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. see Mark15:24-27
Fifthly, you seek the resurrected one.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: see 1 Cor 15:3-6
Sixthly, you seek the interceding one.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. see Hebrews 12:2

Seventhly, you seek our soon coming King.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. see Acts 9-11
Dear Friend, are you seeking Jesus Christ today ??

If so, you should call on HIM today, while He is near.  Jesus is waiting to hear from you today. So call, pray to Him and He has promised to hear you.

May GOD bless you,
Rev Dan

Happy Easter 2020

There's an empty cross where Jesus was hung,
There's an empty tomb where He was laid,
And He holds the keys to eternal life.
Jesus Christ was born in this world,
He lived on this earth and died on the cross, He was buried and rose again on the third day, was received up into heaven, and now is seated at the right hand of our Heavenly Father interceding for us daily, and soon will return to this earth to rule and reign from the Holy city Jerusalem. Even so come LORD Jesus our resurrected Savior. PTL !!

Call on Him today while He is near, for whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

Apostle's reminder of the last days

An Apostle's reminder of the last days

This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you in which I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, that you should remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken by your apostles. 2 Peter 3:1-2

The Apostle Peter, Fisherman, Follower of Jesus Christ, The head / leader of Jesus' Twelve Disciples and part of the inner three disciples, gives a great reminder of the "last days" and the " Coming of the LORD Jesus" His return to this earth.

This subject, after it was heard from Jesus and given to the disciples, that they questioned it to Him at his ascension when He was going up to heaven, see Acts 1:6-7, It actually moved them to ask Jesus "when LORD ??" And He told them and Peter is sharing it with us now, in his book of Second Peter Chapter 3.

First, there will come "scoffers" many scoffers who mocks our LORD's return, Notice the definition of a scoffer,  someone who jeers or mocks or treats something with contempt or calls out in derision. Synonyms: flouter, jeerer, mocker Type of: disagreeable person, unpleasant person. a person who is not pleasant or agreeable.

Needless to say we Christians see this all to often, the doubters and discouragers. They are following their own selfish desires and agendas. Doubting the Jesus' return, but Peter said this would be first.

Really Peter teaches us there will be doubt in the message of His coming and many will say He is delaying the manner of his return. Many will say ," well it has not happened yet !!" Where is it ?? and "when will it be ??"

Then they deliberately overlook the fact that GOD will show judgement on the ungodly.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:27

Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless. II Peter 3:14

Now is the accepting time, today is the day of salvation for you.  Call on the name of the LORD Jesus to be saved.

May the GOD of Heaven bless you,
Rev Dan

And Martha recieved Him

Luke 10:38
8 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he (Jesus) entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
Martha is a biblical New Testament character who was a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.  While on one of His many journeys, traveling by feet, came in to a "receiving place", Martha' house.  Her acceptance of Jesus allowed her to receive Him.

The word "received" means "to receive under one's roof" (hupo, "under"), "receive as a guest, entertain hospitably, she let Him in.

I am thinking about the scripture verses in the bible, New Testament, Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.

What a grand invitation and opportunity.  Yes LORD, as you are here, please come in.

If you study this home more, Martha's sister and brother lived there, Mary and Lazurus.  A common family who let the LORD in. And He's asking you today.

May I ask you to accept the LORD Jesus Christ as you personal LORD and Savior. Ask and Believe. Trust and obey. Hear and then Call.

He that believes has life, but he that does not believe has no Life. See John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;

So Jesus is there and for you, so I ask, why will you not let Him in ??

May GOD bless you, with concern, I say only trust Him only trust Him now.

An awakening time

Well Hello ALL,

At this time, March 2020, our country (USA) is going through the COVID-19 virus Pandemic. And in times like these we need to follow GOD's powerful and unchanging hand. For GOD will lead, guide and protect us as a shepherd does for his sheep.  GOD will help us as He helped David when he requested GOD to Show him, teach him and lead him, see Psalms 25:4

Really, it's a time to turn to GOD.As  ALL sports, I mean ALL SPORTS events are stopped and shutdown.  It's an awaking time for ALL, the ungodly and Godly, for the unbeliever and believer.  You see, the biblical lesson is the same here, the rain from above, from GOD falls on the righteous and unrighteous, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER and we all need to turn to GOD.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct, make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Proverbs 3:5-7

It's GOD's calling time, but do you hear Him ?? Well, you can.

Did you know, His word is near you ?? That's right it may be even in your heart and mind.
Notice what the Bible says in the New Testament, Romans, which the Apostle Paul wrote,

But what does it say? (the bible) “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, [e]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, [f]resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, [g]resulting in salvation.

Then the LORD JESUS CHRIST said,

whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:15-17
These words is an alarm, announcement and Awakening for you !!
And I hope you heed this wonderful call and turn to GOD today.
For if you turn unto GOD, He will turn unto YOU.
May GOD bless friend,
Rev Dan

The God of my salvation

Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. Psalms 25:4-5
The God of my salvation

He will show you His way,
He will teach you His path,
He will Lead you in His truth.

First, we see David's personal prayer, to GOD as a source
David said as for me, personally, I will cry, I will pray to the LORD. A personal prayer to GOD his source of help. It was not of man's wisdom nor worldly wisdom, He asked it from GOD. It was not within himself, not David's own logic and experience, but from GOD.

Secondly we see David practical plan, GOD's way, as strategy
"teach me your path" There are many paths to take in our life. Career path, wealth path and family path, just to name a few. But for David, his practical path was to GOD. Here David's strategy was based on his history with GOD.  For HE had guided David as a Shepherd boy and he knew that he could use GOD's strategy in life.

Thirdly, we see David purposeful path, GOD's to seek
David said, LORD I want you to lead me in your truth.  Obliviously, GOD's way would be based on GOD"S words.  He will seek that purposeful path with GOD. David knew it and wanted to seek it. Led by the great hand of GOD. As GOD would lead, guide and direct. Although, it may not be a smooth path, perhaps rough and rocky, but David wanted GOD to Lead him, and I say "A-men !!" Would to GOD even I as the writer of this blog post could learn this for my life.

What GOD does is personal, for you
What GOD does is very practical, for you
What GOD does is purposeful, for you

The GOD of your salvation is calling you today, it's comparable to someone knocking at you home's front door, will you let Him in?? He's patiently waiting, why don't you call on Him today.

Rev. Dan
