Lessons from the Tabernacle Part 1

Lessons from the Tabernacle Part 1

I am referring to Tabernacle God told Moses to build and setup for the nation of Israel while they were on their journey in the wilderness.  It's called a "tent" in some of the modern biblical translations. I will admit it was very mobile as it could setup and brought down for movement and it was designed for that purpose.

But God desired to dwell among His children of Israel.  The tabernacle was setup in the middle of their camp with ALL tribes camped around it. In the middle of the compass, North, East, South and West.  It was the center piece of the camp. Already, we have a great spiritual symbolic lesson, GOD wants to be in the middle of our life.  He wants us to have a place to meet and communicate with Him.

So, as I often think and mediate about the Tabernacle in the wilderness, I see many biblical symbolic lessons that teach me more things about GOD and His ways, which also thrills me as gives me great insight and makes me very happy.

When the tabernacle was setup, facing the east, first you would see a four-post gate entrance.  The number "FOUR" is the number of the world, as there are four directions in the world, north, east, south and west.  Teaching us and revealing ALL people from four corners of the earth may enter in.  Also, it very interesting that our BIBLE has four gospels. (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) And whosoever that come in, may have entrance to come to GOD, through the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. See John 3:16 also Matt. 11:28, Luke 18:16, Mark 8:34

And so dear, if you are reading this blog post, may I ask you, have you come to GOD, He loves you and wants to save you, he wants You to enter it.

For whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved!!

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9-10,13

May GOD bless you friend,
