Three hidden truths from three parables Luke 15
It has been said a parable is an earthly story with a
heavenly meaning. Our LORD Jesus as the great
master / teacher used this means of teaching to His disciples, we who are believers and to all that seek Him.
Now, each of the three parables have a story and lesson for
all. But here are the hidden truths.
First, in verses 3-7 the parable of the lost sheep. We see, what
an earthly shepherd would do. But a deeper teaching is what the great and Good
shepherd did for us all. He left Heaven, he left the throne of Glory, to go and
come to the earth to find the lost sheep. Luke said, in his book, Jesus come to
seek and save that which was lost. So not only does it who and what an earthly shepherd
would do, but it shows what the LORD Jesus did for us. It shows His love, His looking
and His labor for the lost sheep. And this teaches us salvation.
Secondly, parable # 2, the parable of the lost coin verse 8-10. The bible teaches the bride of Christ as a
woman. All believers, all those who have been saved by the grace of GOD through
faith are apart of the Bride of Christ. And
so this is a message from Jesus to his bride the church. Clean your house, your heart, and find that
one valuable thing you lost. Ten is the number of testimonies, perhaps she lost
one part of her testimony. Your testimony with man and GOD. First, she lighted a candle or lamp, GOD’s light
always shows that something is missing, it exposes the blemish and the wrong,
it shows where you need to clean. May I say, many times, it is your heart, your
head(mind) and home. The old testament patriot,
KING David, say in the Psalms “Thy word is a lamp to my feed and a light to my
path”. And this teaches us sanctification.
Thirdly, parable # 3, the lost son. The son made a wild and
worldly decision to leave the Father. But in his leaving, he found regret that
he left the Father. So the Father was not mean or mad. But He longed for His
lost son. Then was happy rejoiced when he came back. Truly, showing the great love of the Father
and our Heavenly Father. The Father hugged and loved him, praise the LORD, he
loves you dear friend, you may come back to Him!! And this teaches reconciliation.
So, we see three earthly stories, the lost sheep, the lost
coin and the lost on, BUT, great is the Heavenly meaning!!
Dear friend, GOD is lovingly looking for YOU today, why want
you call on Him, today, He is just a prayer away. And, most importantly, whosoever
shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved, that could be you.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved.
10 For with
the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved. Rom 10:9,10,13
Salvation is of the LORD, by grace through faith the gift of
GOD, not of works.
- Sanctification
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because
it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15-16
Set apart Living for Him, in our walk, words and ways.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin
against thee. Psalms 119:11
- Service
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come
upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts
1:8
Thou therefore, my son, be
strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 And the
things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to
faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
2 Tim 2:1-2
Go ye into ALL the world, preach, teach, and reach each one!!
- Second
Coming
(the rapture & His revelation)
And while they looked stedfastly toward
heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of
Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up
from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him
go into heaven. Acts 1:10-11
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will
come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:3
For the
Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive
and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the
Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thess 4:16-17
Lord's Prayer
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. OF the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 9:6-7
The prophet of the Old Testament, Isaiah, saw in the future the birth of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, GOD's son.
And being moved by this insight from GOD, he wrote in Chapter 9 of his book, these titles of the soon coming King, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Title # 1 "Wonderful Counsellor"
The word "Counsellor", in the original language of Hebrew means to advise , consult, give counsel. And JESUS did this while on this earth, in his earthly ministry. His did this to his family, friends and his 12 disciples. They all sought counsel from Him, Do you need a counselor today??
Title # 2 "The Mighty GOD"
Jesus, being GOD's son, is actually GOD in the Flesh, GOD in human form. He is the bread that came down from heaven. So He was seen as GOD physically. But JESUS was also seen as GOD in His might powers. Healing the sick, calming the storms on the sea and raising the dead, truly a mighty GOD, but do you have a mighty GOD in your life ??
Title #3 "the everlasting Father"
The divinity of Christ implies his eternal existence, but in John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In the great trinity, GOD the Father, GOD the Son and GOD the Spirit are the three in one.
One could say a Father would lay down his life for those he loves. Do you have a that Heavenly everlasting Father ??
Title #4 " the Prince of Peace"
One thing this Prince will do is establish His kingdom on this earth. A future event to come. There will be many wars, but the Prince of Peace will make peace on this earth when He conquers his adversaries and evil ones. The prophet saw this to come in the future. But do you have peace in you life ??
Doesn't even the Christmas songs "peace on earth" because of His birth??
And there are many more things about the LORD JESUS CHRIST the bible tells us so. But Do you know Him ??
Dear friend, yes you may know Him and you can know Him. You are just a pray away, so bow your head, close your eyes, in your private time and call on JESUS.
For whosever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved !!

The Life line
There was a old TV game show a few years ago that gave you a chance to answer the game question by using a "life line". You were asked a question and if you did not know the answer you could use your life line and you had three.
One was to remove two wrong answers from the four you were given. Second was ask the audience and third was to phone or ask a friend.
In biblical numeric, three is the number of GOD, as we believe GOD the Father, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit, also known as the Holy Trinity, but the three are one. Similar as water, ice and steam are three but one.
So in similar aspect, GOD is our life line,
First, GOD can remove the wrong answers in your life. Ask Him show you the way. He did David, King David,
Show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Psalms 25
Secondly, we can find help from for the audience, and it is very interesting the bible says there safety in the multitude of counselors, Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety. Proverbs 11:14
Of course, you will want to seek a godly counsel and a godly audience, the church, His people and GOD's man.
Thirdly, with GOD we can ask a Friend, Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:6, turn to GOD and He will turn to YOU !!
It is very interesting how GOD can use the simple / funny things to relieve Himself, help and hope. We all may throw out a "life line" to Him. And hey, this thought reminds me of that old gospel song. "Throw out the life line"

Well I keep coming back to the well of GRACE,
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Our Great LORD GOD loved us (the world) so much that He sent first, his word for us to live by. GOD gave the great Jewish leader, Moses, the tablets of stone, the 10 commandments for His people to live by.
His word in stone speaks how GOD wanted to last and endure through time. He gave it to Moses and He wanted Moses to give it to the children of Israel, GOD's people.
Then He sent the rain. one time for judgement and another time for blessing. Water from the heavens / sky, was judgement in the flood with Noah. Water from the ground was from a rock, to satisfy the thirst of the children of Israel in their wildness journey.
God sent down the Holy Manna for His children in the wilderness, as they hunger, enough for the day, that day. He sent down JESUS, the bread of life, for the salvation of mankind.
GOD can send down judgement and He can send down blessings. What are you looking for and what do you want ??
His word sent down to us can condemn or console.
His water can condemn or console.
His ways may condemn you, but it can also console you.
How long will YOU be of two opinions of GOD, seek Him, seek life a new life in Him, trust and follow Him.
There is heavenly home to gain and devil's hell to flee in the next life after death.
Where will you spend eternity ??
Please call on the LORD GOD today, believe in His son, for redemption of your sins.
Call on Him while He is near, draw near to the LORD and He will draw need to you.
