This Day

Hello Again everybody,

As I celebrate the annual day of my birth, my mind goes back to Jesus, who came into this world to save the lost and dwell among us. May we follow His steps, walking from to city after city, preaching His gospel, contacting people face to face, Personally Healing, helping and sharing happiness with whosoever that called on Him.

His way should be the main thing, so let's make the main thing the main thing, may God bless you all.

For Christ did not come into this world to commend the world, but the world through Him might be saved.

Presentation and Information

Presentation and Information

The other day, in the break / lunch room at work, on the free table, a large chocolate cookie was placed there in a sandwich bag. And it sat there from 10 AM break until 3 PM break and no one would touch it.

So I waited as I wanted to hear the reasons from the fellow employees why they did not take the big chocolate cookie. So one reason was presentation.  It was dark and was chocolate stain on the clear plastic sandwich bag.  The worst critical remark that I heard was it look like a small pile of waste. He obliviously was not hungry, nor wanted a chocolate cookie, So it failed in presentation.

Then came the second thought / comment information.  Someone said well, who left it there?? Who placed the cookie there??  Some employee's names was mentioned and it was from certain people then NO - WAY would they take the free gift.  SO information failed the free gift.

So the presentation was bad and the information wrong, so the big chocolate cookie was rejected.

As I pondered this in my mind, God started to speak to heart and mind.

The world and mankind will reject the free gift from God. as we read in the bible, Ephesian 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

God has provided a free spiritual and eternal gift to man, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 316

And many will look at the presentation of Jesus and reject Him, then other will hear the Biblical information and reject Him. They will reject Jesus as they did a free cookie.

I could spend more time here on the rejected presentation and information for Jesus, but I will declare truth base on the Word of God, the bible. He came unto His own and His own (people) received not, they also said can any good thing (person) come out His country that He was from ??

God in the flesh, human form, His son Jesus Christ came into this world to seek and to save that which was lost, see Luke 19:10  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14

So Dear friend, please look at the Son, His Son, Jesus Christ as He is presented to you. Then hear what we have said, what His believers have said, and hear the information, the by faith accept it, to become saved / a child of God, for with the heart man believes and with mouth confession is made unto salvation, For whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved!!

A John 3:16 story

A John 3;16 story

A young orphan boy was waking around the big city on a cold winter night. He came to a street crossing and saw a policeman. He said, "Sir do you know of a place where I could sleep tonight, that box down the alley  sure does get cold at night." The kind policeman smiled and said, "sure I do, just go to the big house in the way, ask for Chris and say John 3:16 sent you."

And he did, the young boy went to the big house rather nervously and knock on the door. Then Chris came to the door. The young boy said, "the policeman said to tell you John 3:16 sent me." Chris had a smile on his face he invited the boy in the house.  He thought John 3:16, I don't what it means, but it gave an invitation to this big house.

Chris escorted the young boy in and ask, "Are you hunger??" The boy admitted that  had not eaten that day and only had an apple yesterday. He said, "Yes,  I could eat." Then Chris set the boy at the table and fed him a big meal.  He thought, John 3;16, I don't understand it but it gave me an invitation to this big house and big meal that fed this hungry boy.

Then Chris said," Would you like to take a wash ??" the boy said, "yes, it has been a while" So Chris fixed a warm tub of water with a bar of soap. The boy washed and comb his hair and then thought, John 3:16, again I don't know what it means, but it gave an invitation, fed my hunger and washed me clean.

The boy came to Chris and said, "Sir I have no money and no family, I could never pay for all this. Chris said don't worry about that it has  ALL been paid for you.  Then Chris took the bible, God's word and explained to the young orphan boy about John 3:16.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

And now Dear friend, Christ the Lord is knocking on your heart's door, and like the young orphan boy, He is sending you an invitation to come in, to feed that hungering in your soul and to wash you from ALL your sins. He wants YOU to become a Child of God, and you can today!! the bible says For whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD, shall be saved, for with the heart man believes and with mouth confession in Him is made unto salvation.

God's Amazing Grace

A story of God's Amazing Grace

Young Joe Lookfour was asked to do a book report on God's Amazing Grace. The secular teacher said son, you can use your bible and personal experiences, but you won't convince me. So even though Joe was new to the secular college that taught worldly theories and globalism,  he took on the task in search for the truth, knowing he would have to report it to his teacher and class members.

Day one
As young Joe came home for the weekend, He thought that he would ask his mother. She said, "Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wrench like me, I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see."

Night one
She said Joe don't just take my word only, ask you Father  tonight. So then at the right time Joe asked his Father.  And he said," T'was  grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved, How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed."

Day two
He said Joe don't just  take my and mother's word, go over and ask grandfather too. And he did. Joe went to his grandfather who was sitting on the porch enjoying the sunshine. Joe asked and his grandfather said, "Through many dangers toils and snares, I have already come, Tis grace that brought me safe thus far and Grace will lead me home."

Night two
But grandfather said, don't just take your families' word, go to our Pastor, he's a learned man and wise in the Holy scriptures, the bible, call him and ask him. And He did.

Day three
Young Joe Lookfour went to church and spoke to the Pastor. With a smile on his face and the Holy book in the heart and hand, He said to Joe, "When we've been there (heaven) ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, we've no less days to sing God's praise, than when we first begun."

Night three
The Pastor said, now don't just take your family and this preacher's word, read what God's word says. Joe went home and found his Red Gideon Pocket Bible that He got in the Fifth grade and he looked up the scriptures that the Pastor told him to Ephesians 2:8-9 and it said,  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

Well, young Joe Lookfour found what he was looking for and went back to school very eagerly and excitedly. He went to the secular teacher and said, Teacher,  "I've just began to live, I've began to live, when God's Amazing grace came in, I just began to live, old things are pasted away, I have a brighter day. my name is recorded up above, I've just began to live!!"

Hello blog reader and follower, it's very oblivious, this Grace story contains and uses the John Newton's song Amazing grace.  And it has been used this way over and over again through the years, I just put my twist to it.

Dear friend, for whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD, shall be saved by God's Amazing Grace.
God's riches at Christ's expense, God unmerited love and favor, also God's unmerited favor and love.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise Him all creature here below, Praise Him all ye Heavenly host, Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost, Amen.

Marvel not, ye must be born again.

Faith and reason work together

Faith and reason work together

God has given convincing reasons for people to have faith in him:

natural revelation (i.e., nature and conscience) (Psalm 19:1; Rom 1:18-22; 2:14-15),

historical evidences (Acts 1:1-3; 2:32; 3:15; 5:30-32; 10:39-41; 1Cor 15:3-8),

confirming miracles (Isa 7:14; Jn 2:18-21; 20:30-31; Acts 2:22; 2Cor 12:12; Heb 2:4),

fulfilled prophecies (Isa 53; Dan 9:26; Luke 21:6; Jn 2:18-21; 1Cor 15:3-4).

God uses reasoning to persuade people to have faith in him (Isa 1:18; Mark 11:22; Acts 17:2; 18:4, 19, 28; 19:26; 27:25; 1Cor 14:24; 2Cor 5:11; Titus 1:9).
