I am Chosen

I am Chosen
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; NAS

May I say, I do not believe the limitations of predestination, meaning, those who believe only some are predestine to salvation and some are not.  Yet I believe in the sovereignty of God, that He watches over the chosen or those who have been saved, born again.

We are chosen at our salvation, when we got saved, again showing the importance of being saved. And God knows and determined what will happen to that group of born again believers. (I have no problem with that) nor do I know who they are, so I try to win all or as many as I can for Him.

So being chosen, we had to called.

A call to salvation. The beginning of salvation is hearing the call of God, to be saved. It’s by the urging of the Holy Spirit. As He woos you, speaking to your heart.  You see, the triune God head (trinity) all have a part of your salvation. For God the Father loved you, Jesus, God the son, laid down His life for you, and God the Holy Spirit calls you unto salvation.

And being Chosen, we are converted

A converted sinner, converted to follow the Savior and not sin, Satan and the worldly system. It’s a heart change. Believing with your heart. Based on believing the word of God. Saying this is true and right. Also, it’s head or mind change, sounding out after a logical conclusion in your words, I believe.

And being Chosen, we are changed.

A change to sainthood. Many choses and vote one to be a saint, but God choses you immediately to become a saint. A saint of God. And part of the number when the saints come marching in at His return to this earth. ( and that’s another subject)

And being Chosen, our course is set.

For God has a plan and will for the chosen to follow. Ultimately, Heaven’s our home and we know that, but we are heading in a new direction in our life. Not following self, sin and secular living, but following the Savoir.

God said, I chose the saved and born again.  Also, God said, I use can use them and reward the chosen for their service. Literally, reward them for their love, life and labor for the Lord God.

The Apostle Peter said it correctly in 1Peter 2, YE or you are Chosen!! He knew, for he was called unto salvation, He believed in Jesus, and he follow Him is service. Spent three years with as a disciple, meaning a learner, as he, indeed learned many things of Jesus.  Jesus said I will call him and then I can use him. And he did, Peter gave up the fishing trade with his brother and followed Jesus. Became number one of the disciples. A leader and a learner. Oh yes, Peter still doubted, but he came back after he saw a resurrected Lord.

So please call on Jesus today,He will hear you and he will save you 😊

Four basic elements to survive

Under science proves the bible and the bible proves science.
see image below,

(well the spiritual significance is there)
The Holy and Great creator GOD, knew about the need for life sustaining elements and imparted them to Jesus, the way, the truth, the life.

Did this just happened to be there in the bible, God's word?? It was planned and provided by the Lord God,
Truly what a mighty God we serve!!
(hey, go find more hidden truths to share!!)

Words written in our bible over 400 years ago, what a great truth that is related to Jesus. Also the great accuracy of  truth with elements and Jesus.  Again, did this just happen by chance or was coincidence, no, I say NO, God knew and it was ALL planned that way. Truly it shows "what a mighty God we serve!!

And yet, It starts with your relationship with Jesus Christ, God's son, if you will call on His name, believe in your heart, confess Him to all, YOU can be saved.

that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Call on Him today!!
May God Bless you,

Rescue

Just thinking,

There are souls to rescue,
There are souls to save,
Send the Light, send the light,
The Blessed Gospel Light!!
Our Motivation
Jesus Did
Back To Basics

Definition of rescue
: to free from confinement, danger, or evil : save, deliver: such as
a : to take (someone, such as a prisoner)
b : to recover (something, such as a prize)
c : to deliver (a place under siege)

Just saying, the Gospel will do this!!

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying, Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save!!

What does the scriptures say, it's near to you, even in your mind and heart, you have heard it, that if  you (thou) shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your (thine) heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord Shall be saved!!
May God save you and bless you,

Abraham believed God

What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Rom 4:1-3

The number "4" is the number of the world, as the world has four directions, (north, east, south & west) In Chapter 4 of Romans, the world needs to know that Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteous"

“Abraham believed in (trusted, relied on) God, and it was credited to his account as righteousness (right living, right standing with God).”

Very relevant in our Faith Base Religion.
Wow, what a GREAT chapter!! Romans 4, here's how it ended,

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

The word imputation comes directly from the Latin. It is an accounting term; it means “to apply to one’s
account.” Expenses are debited and income is credited.

A great chapter on the Doctrine of Imputation!!
Also see Amplified version, might make you shout!!
Praise-the-Lord!!

Truly we have so great a salvation !!

We should tell it near & far!!

Serving the Lord

Hello again everybody,

When serving the Lord,

1. You learn from your failures, past

2. You focus on the long term, future

3. Your actions are for Him, present

Motivation

Prov. 3:5,6,7

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

A threefold Help prayer

A threefold Help prayer,

- When Representing The Lord, our purpose

- When Reaching The Lost, our plan

- When Replenishing The Laborers, our prayer

1. When representing the Lord,
Let him who name's the name of Christ be not ashamed.
How do you represent the Lord??
When do you represent the Lord??
Do you represent the Lord in a hidden fashion, only to break it occasionally and maybe in a Christian group, when it may be safe.
To family, friends and fellows workers.

2. When reaching the Lost
It could be preaching and teaching God's word, the Bible.
It could be singing and sharing the good news, the Gospel.
It could be visiting and praying the sick for healing and help.
It could be feeding the poor and hungry then leading them to Christ.
It could be sending out a missionary with your support prayer and money.
It could be giving your time, talent and treasures (money)

3. When replenishing the Laborers
The fields are in bloom, ready to harvest and the Laborers are few,
PRAY to the Lord of the Harvest to send Laborers.
God's house is full but the fields are empty,
who will go and work for Him today!!
Many want to stay the table and no one wants to work in the field.

The real ministry is outside the walls of the Church.

Here am I Lord, send me!!

And how shall they hear, without a preacher.

And show shall they believe for salvation,
The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8-10

May God bless you,

Love lifted me

A hymn and song from yester-year (still relevant today)

I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore,
Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more,
But the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I ,

Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help, Love lifted me!

Love lifted me, Love lifted me,

When nothing else could help, Love lifted me!

Praise the Lord the Love of Jesus can lift you out!!

Jesus hears, forgives and saves!!

May God bless you,

(why, Oh why, would the " modern church" want to take this song out and not sing it?? (SMH)

Words from the Disciples

Words from the Disciples

Acts 6:4
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

AMP
But we will [continue to] devote ourselves [steadfastly] to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” The suggestion pleased the whole congregation;

John's Happiness

IN the Gospel of John, Happiness consists of 3 elements:

1. Someone to love, our Heavenly Father & His Son John 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

2. Something to do, service for Him John 20:21
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
3. Something to look forward to, Heaven, our Heavenly Home  John 14:2-3
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

It's for us

Hello All,
just thinking,

and Him speaking,

I am saved from the penalty of sin at salvation, from our past,
The Grace of God appeared to us

For he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself
It's for us personal.

I am saved from the of power sin in sanctification, in our present,
Grace teaches us to walk in the Lord

For He has now to appear in the presence of God for us.
It's for us practical living for Him.

I will be saved from the presence of sin, our glorification, future.
At His glorious appearing

look for him shall he appear the second time
It's for us a promise of His coming.

PTL!! it just never gets old to me, PTL!!

Come to Calvary, come to Jesus, He will in no wise cast you out!!

The Bible is a small (hand held) library having 66 books.  Divided into two parts Old and New Testament.  It's personal for you, practical for serving  Him and others, it's prophetical showing us things to come, the future.

It teaches the words, ways and wisdom of God.  The Life of Christ, His Birth burial and Resurrection,
and ascension into Heaven to intercede for us today.

And it shows us the way of salvation to the Lord, see John 3:16,  Roman 5:8, Proverbs 3:5-6.

A llife lesson

Hello All,

I found this story on the internet and I would like to share it you, the blog follower.

A life lesson
Yesterday, as I walked, I met this gentleman, who is blind. Seeing him carry a big bottle of water for a fountain, I was moved and had to approach him to tell him that I could help him, and he immediately said to me: – You can help me cross the street. So being across the street, I said, "Where are you headed?, I can help you load the bottle. And what he said: – No, relax, this is not the first bottle I have, I've done like 20 times, and I've become "delivery"; They pay me 20 pesos for every bottle I take. This event made me think about life, and I understood that there are no excuses to go far and be someone of good.

It is impressive as this elderly gentleman, and also blind, can each day surpass himself to obtain his daily sustenance. If he can do it, why can't we do it? Excuses will come, but the brave always see opportunities.

What We Lost When We Lost Our Hymnals

Few memories are as synonymous with church in my mind, as the sight of my mother holding up a raggety old red hymnal and singing to the top of her lungs the songs of Zion.
Sadly, the number of children who are privileged to such memories in today’s world is dwindling with each passing hour; partly because church is becoming an afterthought to so many and partly because many religious establishments are “moving past” the golden era of hymnals.
The following is an article written by Tim Challies, in which he seeks to remind church folk what they lose when they give up their hymnals:
If we were to go back in time twenty or thirty years, we would find that most churches had hymnals. They had hymnals because it was the best way of providing each member of the congregation with a copy of the songs. You’d hear it in every church: “Take out your hymnal and turn to hymn 154…” And then hymnals went the way of the dodo and we began to look instead to words projected on a screen. Here is some of what we lost along the way.

We lost an established body of songs.Hymnals communicated that a church had an established collection of songs. This, in turn, communicated that its songs were vetted carefully and added to its repertoire only after careful consideration. After all, great songs are not written every day and their worth is proven only over time. Therefore, new hymns would be chosen carefully and added to new editions of the hymnal only occasionally. Churches would update their hymnals, and, therefore, their established body of songs, only once every ten or fifteen years.
We lost a deep knowledge of our songs. When we removed the hymnal, we gained the ability to add new songs to our repertoire whenever we encounter one we deem worthy. And we do—we add new songs all the time. As we add new songs with greater regularity, we sing old songs with less frequency. This reduces our familiarity with our songs so that today we have far fewer of them fixed in our minds and hearts. Few congregations could sing even the greatest hymns without that PowerPoint screen.
We lost the ability to do harmonies. Hymnody grew up at a time when instrumentation took a back seat to the voice. Hymns were most often written so they could be sung a cappella or with minimal instrumentation. For that reason, hymnals almost invariably included the music for both melody and harmonies and congregations learned to sing the parts. The loss of the hymnal and the associated rise of the worship band has reduced our ability to harmonize and, in that way, to sing to the fullest of our abilities.
It often seems like all we want from the congregation is their enthusiasm.
We lost the ability to sing skillfully. As congregations have lost their knowledge of their songs, they have lost the ability to sing them well. We tend to compensate for our poorly-sung songs by cranking up the volume of the musical accompaniment. The loss of the voice has given rise to the gain of the amplifier. This leads to our music being dominated by a few instrumentalists and perhaps a pair of miced-up vocalists while the larger congregation plays only a meager role. In fact, it often seems like all we want from the congregation is their enthusiasm.
We lost the ability to have the songs in our homes. Hymnals usually lived at the church, resting from Monday to Saturday in the little pockets on the back of the pews. But people also bought their own and took them home so the family could have that established body of songs there as well. Families would often sing together as part of their family worship. It is easy to imagine a family singing “It Is Well With My Soul” after eating dinner together, but almost impossible to imagine them singing, “Oceans.”
It is probably too late to go back to the hymnal. I am not at all convinced we ought to. But it is still worth considering what we lost along the way and how congregational singing has been utterly transformed by what may appear to have been a simple and practical switch in the media. That little change from book to screen changed nearly everything.

copied & paste
May I say,
I always believed the Hymnal was the second most important book, next to the bible in the church.
For a good hymn book is a good biblical text book, teaching us the words, ways and wisdom of God.
The new church leaders of our day missed it on this one, choosing technology, but something new usually misses / changes something along the way.

(oh, also look up the blog post on March 5th 2016, "the second important book" as I shared then about the song book)
