The Apostle John's reasons

John’s reason for writing this book

 

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3

John shared his experiences in order for us to have fellowship with him and with God. In Christ, we are able to enter into a relationship with our fellow believers and with our Heavenly Father.

Our shared fellowship is centered on Christ. As we focus our thoughts and conversations around Him, we are brought into fellowship with each other and with God. I pray you will enjoy Christian fellowship today.

And these write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 1John 1:4

The second reason John gives for writing this epistle is that your joy may be full. As a first century Christian, John had experienced great persecution.

While we may not face exile or physical harm for our faith, Satan stills opposes a Christian. John had found joy even in the midst of persecution. He wants us to experience that same joy in whatever circumstances we may face.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John 2:1

The third reason John gives for writing his epistle is that we might sin not. As a child of God, we are not to live in sin. Our heart’s desire should be to live a life pleasing unto God.

But John knew we still live in a fallen world and we have a fallen nature. So he closes this verse with the assurance that if we sin we can confess our sins and find forgiveness. Thank God we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life. 1John 5:13

The fourth reason John gives for writing this epistle is that we might know we have eternal life. There is nothing more important than knowing beyond a doubt we are saved.

My salvation is not secured by my feelings although there is a good feeling to being saved. It is not secured by my works although we are called to do the works of God. My salvation is secured by His Word. His Word says I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

May I testify

May I testify, . . .

History is on our side, history will back the Christians, our forefathers believed in and followed the LORD our GOD. They sought Him for help and guidance, The GOD of Israel's Fathers is the GOD of our fathers. The GOD of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is the GOD and Father of the LORD JESUS Christ.

OF whom is our Leader, for He will us out the wilderness,

He is Lamb, sacrifice for us to atone for our sins,

He is LORD and Savior who saved us by His grace.

Yes sir, history is on our side!!

Let the REDEEMED of the LORD say so!! (and often)

Let the heathen know,  He's the LORD our GOD

Let the religiously lost know,  He's the LORD our GOD,

Let the young believers know, He's the LORD our GOD.

Say it with love in your heart,

Say it to declare and proclaim,

Say it to inform ALL.

The Family

The Family


The family is a creation of GOD as we find this based on the bible, GOD's word.

Jesus said in the New testament of the bible,
And he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, ⁵ and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? ⁶ Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Matt. 19:5-6


¹⁸ And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. ²¹ And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; ²² and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. ²³ And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. ²⁴ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. ²⁵ And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Gen. 3


4 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. ² And she again bare his brother Abel. Gen. 4




And through out the bible, GOD's word,
Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.⁴ Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. ⁵ How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed. Psalms 127:3-5 NAS (for clarity)


Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Eph. 6:1


 He started with a human man, created in His likeness, then He created a Human woman, as He took a rib from the created Human man and they became one, They had relations and she conceived to have children.  Truly this is  GOD's way for a family.


GOD first established the family. Husband man, wife female and children. 


Young man, follow GOD's way to have a family, young lady follow GOD's way to have a family.


GOD declared it this way and it just works for life, love and happiness.


Dear friend, I realize there are many ungodly and humanistic reasons that would disagree with this and they have their ideas. BUT, why not follow GOD and His way.


BUT FIRST, you must be born again, you must be saved. For whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved. Believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Follow your heart and follow GOD.

At the Cross

At the Cross

May I testify,
At the Cross, at the cross, there at Jesus Christ's cross, where He was nailed on and Crucified,
This is where I first saw the light of the LORD and the burden on heart and mind rolled away,
It was there by faith I received my spiritual sight and now I happy all the day long.

GOD's great love

GOD's great LOVE

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, ⁵ even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened (made alive)  us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Eph. 2:4-5

Let's notice the great truth found in each letter of L-O-V-E.

The letter 'L", LIGHT
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor 4:6
God's Love speaks of light, a light shinning on you and in your heart.  You would not know God's love until He sheds His light upon you. Something through, song, scriptures and situations.

The Letter "O",
and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.  Eph. 5:2

God's love speaks of an offering, as Jesus Christ, GOD's son, gave His life for us. No one took His life, Jesus willingly laid it down, on the cross.

The Letter "V",
God's love speaks of our value to Him. Luke 12:7-8
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. ⁸ Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

The Letter "E",
God's love speaks of Eternal life John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God plan and provided it for us. This is His way. Today you can make heaven your home.

Oh Great is the hidden truth in this word and found in the letters of L-O-V-E !!


These letters and verses is based on the bible and GOD's word, which is to us and for us.


And if GOD loves you so much, why not call on Him today to be saved and born again. For whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

The Time for your salvation

The Time for your salvation (T-I-M-E)


The time for your salvation evolves some things are found  in the letter of the word "TIME".

The letter T, evolves you turning to Him Zach. 1:3
 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
"Turn ye unto GOD and He will turn unto you" an Old Testament truth that applies to us today. This shows GOD's great mercy and love. He said it by the OT prophet to His people  but now it also applies to YOU today. T- turn to Him.


The letter I, evolves our identification, John 1:12
He came unto his own, and his own received him not. ¹² But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
It actually a promise for you, that if you receive Him, you are promised by GOD to become a child of GOD, a part of His family. And this grants you happiness and a home in heaven. I- identifies you.


The letter M, evolves our measurement of days Psalms 39:4
Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.
This is really a prayer for a reality check, a measurement of time, specifically your life. For  life is short, like vapors (steam) that rises up from water, it appears for a second, then it's gone. Oh, please don't delay for your soul's salvation.  M- measurement our time.


The letter E, evolves being Enlighten Psalms 25:4-5
Show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. ⁵ Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation;
GOD will show you the way, the truth and life.  As He speaks to your heart through the Holy Spirit and as you read His words and  you mind these things.  Jesus paid the price, when He gave His life for us. E- God wants to enlighten us.


Warning, delay will cause darkness to  seeing the truth, delay will lead you to many doubts and delay will lead to dullness to the witness of the Holy Spirit. There is a dead  line. It will stop!!


So dear friend, heed the warning, see the hidden message in TIME, for your life will not last long. And the knocking on your heart's door will be gone.

The Time in your Life

The Time in your Life (T-I-M-E)

Trust, Prov 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.⁶ In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.

The letter “T” in TIME can mean trust. The song from the hymn book says, “is so sweet to trust in Jesus” When we have time with GOD we must trust in Him. Listen to His words, ways and wisdom, He will direct your path. A trusting path of life with Him.

 Intercession, Rom 8:34

It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

The letter “I” in TIME, can mean the intercession work of Christ. For He will interceded for us. Literally, plead our case, our daily actions to GOD. Our intercession time with Him is in prayer as we confess daily. He who loved you and died for you LIVES to make intercession for us.

Mind, Phil. 1:27

That ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

The letter ‘’M” in TIME, can mean Mind. That striving mind as we strive together to live for Him. Working on one team leading many to our heavenly goal (home) A striving mind to live together with Him.

Encouragement 1 Sam. 30:6

but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

The letter “E” in TIME, can mean encouragement.  David, king of Israel, Old Testament Patriarch, encouraged himself in the LORD, whom He claimed to be his GOD. As GOD lead him when he was a shepherd boy, when David fought the loin and bear and when David fought the giant Goliath. 

So as we learned the four lessons  from the letters of time, T-I-M-E, may we apply these great truths to our lives.
