John’s reason for writing this book

 

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3

John shared his experiences in order for us to have fellowship with him and with God. In Christ, we are able to enter into a relationship with our fellow believers and with our Heavenly Father.

Our shared fellowship is centered on Christ. As we focus our thoughts and conversations around Him, we are brought into fellowship with each other and with God. I pray you will enjoy Christian fellowship today.

And these write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 1John 1:4

The second reason John gives for writing this epistle is that your joy may be full. As a first century Christian, John had experienced great persecution.

While we may not face exile or physical harm for our faith, Satan stills opposes a Christian. John had found joy even in the midst of persecution. He wants us to experience that same joy in whatever circumstances we may face.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John 2:1

The third reason John gives for writing his epistle is that we might sin not. As a child of God, we are not to live in sin. Our heart’s desire should be to live a life pleasing unto God.

But John knew we still live in a fallen world and we have a fallen nature. So he closes this verse with the assurance that if we sin we can confess our sins and find forgiveness. Thank God we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life. 1John 5:13

The fourth reason John gives for writing this epistle is that we might know we have eternal life. There is nothing more important than knowing beyond a doubt we are saved.

My salvation is not secured by my feelings although there is a good feeling to being saved. It is not secured by my works although we are called to do the works of God. My salvation is secured by His Word. His Word says I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

May I testify

May I testify, . . .

History is on our side, history will back the Christians, our forefathers believed in and followed the LORD our GOD. They sought Him for help and guidance, The GOD of Israel's Fathers is the GOD of our fathers. The GOD of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is the GOD and Father of the LORD JESUS Christ.

OF whom is our Leader, for He will us out the wilderness,

He is Lamb, sacrifice for us to atone for our sins,

He is LORD and Savior who saved us by His grace.

Yes sir, history is on our side!!

Let the REDEEMED of the LORD say so!! (and often)

Let the heathen know,  He's the LORD our GOD

Let the religiously lost know,  He's the LORD our GOD,

Let the young believers know, He's the LORD our GOD.

Say it with love in your heart,

Say it to declare and proclaim,

Say it to inform ALL.

The Family

The Family


The family is a creation of GOD as we find this based on the bible, GOD's word.

Jesus said in the New testament of the bible,
And he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, ⁵ and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? ⁶ Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Matt. 19:5-6


¹⁸ And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. ²¹ And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; ²² and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. ²³ And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. ²⁴ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. ²⁵ And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Gen. 3


4 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. ² And she again bare his brother Abel. Gen. 4




And through out the bible, GOD's word,
Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.⁴ Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. ⁵ How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed. Psalms 127:3-5 NAS (for clarity)


Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Eph. 6:1


 He started with a human man, created in His likeness, then He created a Human woman, as He took a rib from the created Human man and they became one, They had relations and she conceived to have children.  Truly this is  GOD's way for a family.


GOD first established the family. Husband man, wife female and children. 


Young man, follow GOD's way to have a family, young lady follow GOD's way to have a family.


GOD declared it this way and it just works for life, love and happiness.


Dear friend, I realize there are many ungodly and humanistic reasons that would disagree with this and they have their ideas. BUT, why not follow GOD and His way.


BUT FIRST, you must be born again, you must be saved. For whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved. Believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Follow your heart and follow GOD.

At the Cross

At the Cross

May I testify,
At the Cross, at the cross, there at Jesus Christ's cross, where He was nailed on and Crucified,
This is where I first saw the light of the LORD and the burden on heart and mind rolled away,
It was there by faith I received my spiritual sight and now I happy all the day long.

GOD's great love

GOD's great LOVE

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, ⁵ even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened (made alive)  us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Eph. 2:4-5

Let's notice the great truth found in each letter of L-O-V-E.

The letter 'L", LIGHT
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor 4:6
God's Love speaks of light, a light shinning on you and in your heart.  You would not know God's love until He sheds His light upon you. Something through, song, scriptures and situations.

The Letter "O",
and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.  Eph. 5:2

God's love speaks of an offering, as Jesus Christ, GOD's son, gave His life for us. No one took His life, Jesus willingly laid it down, on the cross.

The Letter "V",
God's love speaks of our value to Him. Luke 12:7-8
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. ⁸ Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

The Letter "E",
God's love speaks of Eternal life John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God plan and provided it for us. This is His way. Today you can make heaven your home.

Oh Great is the hidden truth in this word and found in the letters of L-O-V-E !!


These letters and verses is based on the bible and GOD's word, which is to us and for us.


And if GOD loves you so much, why not call on Him today to be saved and born again. For whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

The Time for your salvation

The Time for your salvation (T-I-M-E)


The time for your salvation evolves some things are found  in the letter of the word "TIME".

The letter T, evolves you turning to Him Zach. 1:3
 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
"Turn ye unto GOD and He will turn unto you" an Old Testament truth that applies to us today. This shows GOD's great mercy and love. He said it by the OT prophet to His people  but now it also applies to YOU today. T- turn to Him.


The letter I, evolves our identification, John 1:12
He came unto his own, and his own received him not. ¹² But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
It actually a promise for you, that if you receive Him, you are promised by GOD to become a child of GOD, a part of His family. And this grants you happiness and a home in heaven. I- identifies you.


The letter M, evolves our measurement of days Psalms 39:4
Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.
This is really a prayer for a reality check, a measurement of time, specifically your life. For  life is short, like vapors (steam) that rises up from water, it appears for a second, then it's gone. Oh, please don't delay for your soul's salvation.  M- measurement our time.


The letter E, evolves being Enlighten Psalms 25:4-5
Show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. ⁵ Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation;
GOD will show you the way, the truth and life.  As He speaks to your heart through the Holy Spirit and as you read His words and  you mind these things.  Jesus paid the price, when He gave His life for us. E- God wants to enlighten us.


Warning, delay will cause darkness to  seeing the truth, delay will lead you to many doubts and delay will lead to dullness to the witness of the Holy Spirit. There is a dead  line. It will stop!!


So dear friend, heed the warning, see the hidden message in TIME, for your life will not last long. And the knocking on your heart's door will be gone.

The Time in your Life

The Time in your Life (T-I-M-E)

Trust, Prov 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.⁶ In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.

The letter “T” in TIME can mean trust. The song from the hymn book says, “is so sweet to trust in Jesus” When we have time with GOD we must trust in Him. Listen to His words, ways and wisdom, He will direct your path. A trusting path of life with Him.

 Intercession, Rom 8:34

It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

The letter “I” in TIME, can mean the intercession work of Christ. For He will interceded for us. Literally, plead our case, our daily actions to GOD. Our intercession time with Him is in prayer as we confess daily. He who loved you and died for you LIVES to make intercession for us.

Mind, Phil. 1:27

That ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

The letter ‘’M” in TIME, can mean Mind. That striving mind as we strive together to live for Him. Working on one team leading many to our heavenly goal (home) A striving mind to live together with Him.

Encouragement 1 Sam. 30:6

but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

The letter “E” in TIME, can mean encouragement.  David, king of Israel, Old Testament Patriarch, encouraged himself in the LORD, whom He claimed to be his GOD. As GOD lead him when he was a shepherd boy, when David fought the loin and bear and when David fought the giant Goliath. 

So as we learned the four lessons  from the letters of time, T-I-M-E, may we apply these great truths to our lives.

No Greater Love

No Greater Love
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

An old local preacher of many years ago told this story of what he saw when he was a young boy. He told this on his radio program and I would like to share it with you today, a story of great love.


When I was a young boy, I was waken out of my night's sleep with a great co-motion going on my neighborhood. I looked out the window and saw one of the neighbor's house was on fire.  The whole neighborhood came together to try and help.  Then a man, who was the father was in the drive way crying and yelling, "my wife and daughters are still in the house!!", an attempt was made to enter the house and go up stairs, but the flames and fire had burned down the stairs, the mother and two daughter where stuck upstairs.


A neighbor man tried to climb a tree and tried to jump over to the roof, but he did not make. Finally, the fire department got the flames under control and they went in, BUT, they came out carrying three covered bodies wrapped on blankets and covers.  As I looked,  I saw to small bodies, the little girls died having been suffocated by the fire's smoke and flumes, they were recognizable. But, the mother was wrapped up in covers and she was not recognizable.


It was said that when the mother realize that she could not get herself  and  the children out that she wrapped the girls with blankets and covers placed them in the corner of the room.  Then she covered herself up and laid across the children, like a mother chicken hen spread her wings to protect her chicks, as the mother wanted to protect her children.


Needless to say, she was badly burn and died. She gave herself for her children.


And dear friend, Jesus became sin who knew no sin, he endured the cross as ALL the sins of mankind was placed on Him. He thought nothing of it how that sin was placed on Him, which broke fellowship with the Father, GOD turned away, that day, the day light turned dark, and Jesus said Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit and gave up the ghost Luke 23:46 and He died.

He died for you and for me.


BUT, He was buried and then had the power to arise again on the third day. He overcame death and the grave. He was victoriously resurrected, ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.


Truly, there has been no Greater loved than  this, that a man lay down his life for his children.  Now some men might died for other men, perhaps they would died for a good person, BUT GOD, who is great in mercy and has a great love, commended  (demonstrated) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.


And NOW,  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Rom 10:13

So we have sad earthly story here, but it has a great heavenly meaning.

The Family of GOD

The Family of GOD
See ^[a]how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. ² Beloved, now we are children of God, 1 John 3:1-2 NAS

The bible teaches you have to be spiritually birth into the family of GOD. Many say we are all children of GOD, but the truth is we may ALL be creatures of GOD but we are not ALL children of GOD, until first we are saved and born again.  Jesus said marvel not or wonder not, that you must be born again. The famous missionary once asked by a worldly scoffer, why do you preach you must be born again, and the wise missionary said, sir, it's because you must be born again !!


But once we are saved and born-again, we become part of the Family of GOD.


So first as a being part of the Family of GOD, we have an identification, we are identified as being children of GOD in this world.  It speaks of our relationship to Him, as He is our spiritual Father. Even our Heavenly Father, and we should look to him, listen to Him and love Him. It should be  spiritual a natural thing to you. Then  identication speaks of our resemblances to Him. We should walk in his ways, we should speak of His word and learn of His wisdom.


Then secondly, being a part of the family of GOD, means we have an occupation. We will want to serve, shout, sing and share the gospel to others seeking Him. Jesus was in the temple as a young lad of a boy, and he told all there that he was there being about His father's business.  After salvation, the next thing in your life is the "want" to tell others what GOD has done for you. Sharing your testimony of salvation with others, how He saved you.


Then thirdly, being a part of the family of GOD means you have a great reservation in heaven.  Heaven is your goal, Jesus said Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. ² In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14


I'm so glad that I am a part of the family of GOD, and you can too, today!!


But what does the bible say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, ^9 [e]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; ¹⁰ for with the heart a person believes, ^[f]resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, ^[g]resulting in salvation.


Call on His name today and become part of the Family of GOD.

12000th page views

12000th page views

Well, it appears I have reached another mile post on my journey with Him.  The google stats say I have reach my 12000th page view for this blog, which is my personal ministry for Him, at this time.  As mentioned, I have been identified as the preacher reaching outside the walls of the church, something that I have identified myself and take on the call through blogging.

In the last two years and three months this blog has been viewed another 2000 times as I reached 10000 views back then. And I was so happy and humbled by that fact.  So now, reaching 12000 views I am encouraged and excited.  May I say, how that the stats show views from the many different countries from around the world, which is another great encouragement to me. PTL!!

So christian friend and worker for the LORD, perhaps this might encourage you get into the blogging ministry.  Many would like to read about your experiences in the ministry and read about the thoughts that God has laid on heart and mind from the Holy scriptures.  If so I  encourage you the just start and do about 10 or 12 blog post in a roll, and see what God can do for you.  Consistency is the key to any blog. So write and check to google stats and see how it will take off. The best thing, it's for the LORD and I know He will bless it and YOU will help many around the world and here in the USA!!

Well, Praise-the-LORD for the great thing He has done!! and will continue to do. BLESS HIS HOLY NAME!!

Learning about HELL

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; ²³ and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, Luke 16:22


May I say, to be a complete bible preacher and teacher, you must teach / talk about that dreadful place called "HELL".  Hell was not intended for humans for the bible says it was prepare for the devil and his demons.see Matt. 25:41 ( a place of torment for the unbelieving souls)

The bible, God's word, teaches us about the under world. It talks about Sheol, the grave in the Old Testament in the Hebrew, Psalms 31-16-17. It teaches about paradise, the place for the believing Old Testament saints, Luke 16:19-31, also the Lake of fire,  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev.20:14-15

And the bible teaches on HELL (Hades) of which Jesus spoke of and taught.

First, Jesus teaches it is a PLACE, in Luke 16, this parable was more than a parable, an earthly story with a heavenly meaning.  An actual place with real names used. Not a state of mind, but an actual place.

Secondly,  Jesus PICTURED it,  a type of Hell when he saw the waste land Gehenna, near Jerusalem . where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.Mark 9:44-45

Thirdly, Hell is called a PRISON, 1 Peter 3:19  in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison, ²⁰ who once were disobedient, The Apostle of Peter spoke of this place.

Fourthly, Hell is PIT, see Rev. 20:1-3
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. ² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more,  The apostle John wrote this. Not a great nor glorious place. Many false teachers discard hell's teaching, but it's definitely in His book, in the bible. The natural man / lost man will not understand, but GOD will give him enough grace to believe!!

Friend, if you study Jesus's words, in the New testament, he spoke of HELL more times than he taught about Heaven, because He did not want anyone to go there. God is not willing that any should perish, but that ALL would come to Him.

OH friend, please Heed the warning !!  Please call in the LORD to save you from this dreadful place, There is a Heaven to gain but this a HELL to flee, Hell is hot but Heaven is sweet, please call on the LORD today.
