Truth from the great mystery: Part 1

 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1Tim.3:16

A mystery in the bible is a hidden truth. Here is the Book of Timothy, the Apostle Paul breaks it down for us to learn.

First, God was manifested in the flesh. God became human flesh. And God did this through the birth of His son.  He chose Mary to be the vessel, high favored and the LORD was with her. thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women Luke 1:28 (the virgin birth)

Yes, the birth of Jesus is part of our celebration of Christmas.  Angels sang as they welcome His birth, Glory to God in the highest, peace and tidings to the earth.

We celebrate the Christmas season as we welcome / recognized the birth if His dear son, Jesus Christ. God was manifested, made flesh and dwell among us, took on the form of a man. He was a baby,a boy and a man.  And we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten son of God.

A mystery is a hidden truth, not seen and not really understood, but we who believe by faith is our salvation. 

Emanuel meaning God with us. We are His people and He is our God. He, Jesus gave up His heavenly glory, to come this earth, just as the bread, the manna came down from heaven, He came down to this earth to save us. Praise-the Lord!!

Tell me story of Jesus, write on heart every word, tell how the angels said in chorus, as they welcome His birth!! Tell me story most precious, sweetest that was ever heard.

And my friend, as you hear this and read this blog, it's a grand invitation for you become saved / born again. Become a child of God. Believed in your heart and call on the name of the Lord.  For with your heat man believes and with mouth confession is made unto salvation, for whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Call, catch it and claim it in Jesus' name, Amen!!

Christmas Season 2017

Happy Christmas Season!!

Excited and looking forward to coming Christmas Season, time to even more promote & proclaim Christ our Savior, to the world, for His love, labor & logic will save whosoever will believe.

Christian workers,
As we are coming into the Christmas Season, let us promote and proclaim Christ our Savior, to a lost and christless world.

The birth of our King Lord and Savior. The bread that came down from heaven, as the manna came from Heaven on God's people, to save them, Praise-the-Lord, Jesus came to this earth  to save whosoever that will believe!!

His birth is our message, God gave his son,
His birth is our mandate, Go tell the world, (whosoever)
His birth is our motivation, Guides us
His birth is our mission, Goal and service

Peter's five solas

I believe the Apostle Peter had these five foundational truths or Five solas mentioned in 1st Peter Chapter 1.

Christ Alone – 1:18-19

18 forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 who by him do believe in God.

Faith Alone – 1:7-9

 that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 

Grace Alone – 1:10

 10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you

Glory to God alone – 1:21

21 who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Scripture Alone – 1:23-25

 23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 but the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

The first chapter a book can be the seed truth chapter to a book.  Just as the book of Genesis is the beginning and the seed book of the bible and for bible doctrine. Many great truths and bible doctrines start in Genesis and goes through the whole bible in the New Testament unto the book of the Revelation.

The fact that the these five solas are in First Peter chapter one as seen as hidden truths, yet are discovered after reading and enlightened by the Holy Spirit in your heart and mind.

The Apostle Peter who was the leader of the Twelve, the Lord Jesus first's man, part of the inner three is the one who gave us these great truths in his first book in his first chapter which he had learn and was in the fragment of his word.  It's not there by chance but a hidden truth from God.

taste and see

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalms 34:8

Taste is one of our faculties in our Five Senses. Have you ever heard the expression "that left a bad taste in my mouth"  Which can mean physically and mentally,  as we actually get a mouth taste from food or drink. Also, an experience and something we read can left a thought or taste with us.

The Psalmist experienced the Lord God Jehovah in many ways.  He was led by the hand of God in all parts of his life. And his many experiences with God left a good taste with in himself.  May I say, I have found the good Lord to be GOOD too.

So happy is the man that trust in the Lord.  I can say I am happy with His ways. Truly, I do not understand them all but I see His great head in my families life. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. This not predestination or that a man is predesignated, but God through His fore knowledge  already knows.  And if a man follows God, He will know how his life will go and end.

Dear friend has the Good Lord been good to you or does He even know you. First, seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. This is now an open invitation to YOU, the reader if this blog, to come to the Lord.  The Spirit, the Holy Spirit says "come" Jesus said "come unto me, you who are weary and loaded down with many problems and I will give you rest" 

And if you do so today, you will find out taste and see the Lord it Good!!

A sweet smell

2 and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour Eph5:2

Smell is another one of Five Senses of man. Jesus, our great example led the way in this, a sacrifice to God, for a sweet smelling savor.  What Jesus did for us was most acceptable to God.

Interesting, it has to do with life sacrifice. Jesus loved us so much and gave His life a sacrifice to God, the Father, and it was most acceptable to God.

Many times when we think of sacrifice, we think of things that might be big to us, but is it really all that important to God ??

The truth is with God sacrifice many times is has conditions, which when meant, is approved of God.  This is not popular teaching. But a careful study of the bible especially in the Old Testament show how true it it.

But my friend, with the proper attitude, mind set and humbleness  could make all the difference with God.  For God definitely looks on the heart. Then when the sacrifice is done and committed to Him and for Him.  It becomes a sweet smelling sacrifice to Him.

Now realize, let's mentioned animal sacrifice to Him. Usually, a lamb, a male lamb, and a male lamb without spot or blemish.  This gives us an idea and example how God works. Also, fire. The bible said some offered up strange fire, strange made made fire. Oh be careful of our made made sacrifices!!

Walk in love, as Christ did and where he loved us so much He endured the cross, not considering the shame of it.  For when our sacrifice is with God's love and committed to God it becomes a sweet smelling savor, acceptable to God.

And do you what's the first acceptable thing for you to do ?? Come to God, accept His dear son as your Lord and Savior, be saved and born again!!

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 

that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Romans 10:9-10

For whosover shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved!!

He touched me

And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. Luke 5:13

He touched me and made me spiritually whole.  Touch is another one of the faculties of our Five Senses. The touch of God has happened to me many times in my Christian life and it started at salvation, when I got saved. The message of Christ touched my heart and mind.  I sought to see Jesus, who he was and accepted Him into my life. He touched me !!

Then after I was saved, God wanted to touch my life to be more like Christ. He wanted to mold me and make me into the image of His dear Son.  My wrong life's words and ways was brought to my attention by God's word. He touched me!!

And then after hearing the word of God, He touched me to do His service, to serve Him.  In my case it was preaching. After His touch on my life, I wanted to serve Him in proclaiming the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Proclaim the bible as the Word of God. To send a light to a lost and dying world. He touched me!!

But dear friend, has He touched you!! Has he touched your heart and mind.  Many times, this revelation happens when tears come into our eyes. Maybe by a song that's sung or a sermon that is preached.  It could even be a situation that He delivered you from, and it was obvious the hand of God. He touched you!!

If so, the you need to call on the name of the Lord and be saved, born again. But what does the bible say, well it is very near to you,
that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom. 10:8-10

For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved!!

Hearing the word

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

Hearing is another one of our five senses. I like how the Amplified says it, So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.

So whether it's hearing a sermon preached or hearing a lesson taught and hearing the word of God read aloud, the heard word of God feeds our soul.

It's literally our great spiritual provision that we need for life, love and our labor. Hearing the word!!

The word of God is our school master or teacher, that tells us how to correct ourselves in our life, much like a mirror is used to correct our outer presentation. It shows us how to live a lives among all the see us. It cleans and corrects us in our life. It effects out conduct and character. Hearing the word !!

But it also helps us with our love. Our love for God and our love for our fellow men.  The bible, the word of God is our source for love, how to love, what to love and when to love. Especially if we follow the Lord Jesus. Hearing the word!!

Then it helps us in our spiritual labor for Him. Jesus said Go ye into all the world, ye shall be witnesses, as My father has sent me so I send you. Go and Let men see your good works. And as we hear these words of Jesus, in the word of God, we know that we should be about out Father's business on this earth as we live here. Hearing the word!!

But dear friend, are you hearing the word of God ?? It may be a call for salvation.  For you must be saved / born again first, then serve Him. Faith comes by hearing, the question is what are you hearing ?? The world's wisdom or man made thoughts??  Hear Jesus, by hearing His words.  The Bible does not only contain the words of God, it is the word of God!! And Hearing the word!!

The first message you will hear is a call for salvation, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lordi s Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;13 for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Please call on Him today, Hear Ye Him!!

We shall SEE Him

so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him. Heb. 9:28

We shall see Jesus just as He is !!  And dear friend, our faith will become sight. Praise the Lord and Amen!!

One of our five senses is "sight", our vision, what we see. The promise of the Lord Jesus great return is promised to us through out the New Testament. 

Notice John in 14:2-3
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Yes, truly we shall see Him just as He is !!

But, there are many scoffers today. Interesting the scoffers are in our day and in the day Apostles.  The Apostle said in his book 2 Peter 3
3 knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant 

There was doubt then in that day, only 25 or 30 years after Christ's resurrection and many years later in our time, in the 2000s there is doubt now.  OH, we we shall see Him, just as He is !!

But dear friend are you ready to see Him, are you ready to see Jesus. That bread that came down fro heaven, He came the first time and He will soon come again and we shall see Him just as He is !! (Praise the Lord!!)

If you are not ready, you can be, just calling on Jesus, to be your Lord and Savior, confess your sin, and He will SAVE you.

What does the bible says, it is near to you, as you read it accept in the heart and confess with you mouth. 

Rom 10:9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 

For whosoever shall CALL on the name of the Lord shall be SAVED!!

And you too. See Him in salvation now and then you see Him at His second coming. (also when we died, we shall see Him)
