The guard we need

The Guard we need
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation 1 Peter 1:5

Who are being guarded (garrisoned) by God’s power through [your] faith [till you fully inherit that [c]final] salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time (Amplified)

The word kept has the meaning of being guarded, we are guarded by the dynamite power of God, through your faith.  FAITH,  the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.  Of course, the bible says also by faith we understand.

But faith keeps us by the power of God.  A great combination for us. Feed your faith and you doubts will go away. The power of God is God given, as mentioned in Acts 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  And this is serving faith, where God gives us the ability, efficiency, and might to go for Him.

So our faith with power of God, guards us as a garrison of solders would keep guard from the enemy. And we know the world (with it's system & ways) and even though we are in this world, spiritual we are not of this world. And yet our minds need to be guarded from the world.

Then we need to be guarded from the flesh, that natural man, who is of this world, our old Adamic natural, we need to be guarded from the flesh.  The flesh has worldly desires that we (who are saved) need to guard against.

The triune works of the world, the flesh and the Devil has been the fall for many a Christians, many believers. Of course, the Devil made Adam & Eve doubt and he tried to tempt the Lord Jesus.

So we need a guard and you need a guard. We need to guard our mind.  Don't let sin have rule nor dominion over your mind. Have faith and the power of God to keep you.

 We need to guard our mission of service and our message of salvation.

Many will deny the mission of service, but there is a work to do for Him. Jesus said
Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. John 20:21

Many will we deny our message of salvation by saying it's of works and not grace alone. But the bible says
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 2:8-9

But dear friend, the guard that you need comes from God and is given to you after salvation, after you are saved and become a child of God. In the book of John it says  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12

So call on the Lord today, for whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and He shall direct your.

And get the guard you need, by faith and by power of God.

God Bless you,

May I testify

May I testify, on this Sunday morning,

The world needs to SEE us and you, heading to church, Sunday, this first day of the week, The Lord's Day. Put on a dress shirt and tie, ladies put a dress or blouse/skirt as this testifies to the world the Lord has done something special in you life. (not legalism but respect for God's house) Our dress, decisions & what drives us is a testimony to a lost & dying world.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Let's Amplify this verse,
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

Wouldn't hurt for the world to see to you pray and reading your bible too.

Also, it would be good for your family see you sing, shout and cry in Church.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he shall direct thy paths.

God bless you, have a great day :-)

Good Friday

The Day of Jesus' Crucifixion, when they nailed Him to the cross to be crucified.  Good Friday is a Christian religious holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. Of Course, for some of us, who are students of the scriptures,  know it had to be Wednesday or Thursday.  Even more religions make it into a week.  But, ALL are talking about Jesus, all is about Him and when we are talking and thinking about Him, this is a good thing. I believe Easter, as like Christmas, Jesus is the reason for the season.  And if it's about Him, I say, will you "Hear ye Him !!"

James 4:8

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Come close to God and He will come close to you. [Recognize that you are] sinners, get your soiled hands clean; [realize that you have been disloyal] wavering individuals with divided interests, and purify your hearts [of your spiritual adultery].

What a great day to come to The Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. The Spirit and the bride say "COME"
Come now, let us reason together saith the Lord, "Come unto me", Jesus said in Matthew 11:28

1. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
 the emblem of suffering and shame;
 and I love that old cross where the dearest and best
 for a world of lost sinners was slain.
Refrain:
 So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
 till my trophies at last I lay down;
 I will cling to the old rugged cross,
 and exchange it some day for a crown.

2. O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
 has a wondrous attraction for me;
 for the dear Lamb of God left his glory above
 to bear it to dark Calvary.
 (Refrain)

3. In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
 a wondrous beauty I see,
 for 'twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
 to pardon and sanctify me.
 (Refrain)

4. To that old rugged cross I will ever be true,
 its shame and reproach gladly bear;
 then he'll call me some day to my home far away,
 where his glory forever I'll share.
 (Refrain)

God Bless you friend, have a great day, on this GOOD FRIDAY and Easter season.
