A life lesson from Baseball

A life lesson from the Baseball.

Baseball is very mental.  It pays to understand the game situation, that you are in,  to determine what you do.

One scenario is when a batter comes to the plate with a runner on 1st.  On first pitch he might swing for the fence, or hit it hard somewhere, to advance the runner. If he swings and misses, he should not freak out, exhibit emotions, but rather stay foucs, and perhaps goto plan "B" , just hit it hard somewhere to advance the runner. Since there's a runner on first, the batter must hit the ball to the right side of the field, on the first base side of trhe diamond.  He should stay focus, stay with his options.  An out burst of emotions could give the pitcher an avanage. An out burst of emotions can freak out the batter himself. S-T-A-Y focus. Advance the runner and get on base.

The Gospel Bird or Faithful Fowl

The Gospel Bird

The Obedient Bird
(Faithful fowl)

God uses many things, like the Rooster to do his work. The bible said the cock crew, at the appointed time and place, And it crushed the heart of Peter, after hearing the words of the Lord.  It is very interesting who and what God chose to full fill His task.  I think that it speaks volumes how He works.  Did He choose the rooster because that He knew that the rooster would crow anyway or was it case of divine selection with a responsible task from the rooster. And He has chosen many little animals for a divine task.  And if this this true, how much more are we ???

A Thought for Life

Whatever one sows that is what one will reap.  An agriculture law that can apply to LIFE.  If If one plants corn he will reap corn, if he plants beans, he will reap beans.  SO, if one sows GOOD WORKS he will reap good works.  So learn from the law of sowing and reaping.  Do good works and enjoy the harvest.
