Come to Calvary

Come to Calvary is a song / chorus we use to sing in our church many years ago.  It's a call for salvation.  A call to the lost soul that needs to be saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. A call to direct church member's mind from the world and to the cross.

Not only is it a call for salvation, but it's a call for you to lay down your burdens.  Come yo Calvary, come to a crucified savior and  leave it there.  He knows about burdens and He carried them to the cross.  Yes truly, it's a place to come.

It's the place of the crucified one, Where if you believe on Him and what He did, you too may be saved.  Saved by the shed blood of the crucified one. Glory, I am saved, Glory I am saved, I am saved by the crucified one.  God's son the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today is the day of Salvation, now is the accepted time.  For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

Dear friend, do you hear the Savior calling or did you feel the pull of the Holy Spirit?? If so, it's your time today. With your mouth confession is made and with your heart you must believe.

May God bless and do call on Him today,

A tree cut down

For there is hope of a tree if it be cut down that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. Job 14:7-9
Yesterday, Rev. Mark Bottoms used this passage as his text at Liberty. He reminded us there is hope in Christ and Christ alone. Even a tree cut down can sprout again. Through the scent of water it will bud and bring forth new life.
Though we be dead in trespasses and sins, there is hope we may live again. If we repent of our sins and turn to Christ in faith, we have the promise of a new life in Him. Through the power of the Holy Spirit we can live and live more abundantly both now and for eternity.
I saw this post and I remember we had a tree cut down last year, notice ALL the little spouts coming up all round that stump, I shouted in my soul, in Christ they may have cut the tree, but notice ALL the spouts popping up, well glory!!

Also, it's amazing how nature proves the bible and bible proves nature, just saying, it's real, it's real, it's real!!
Also, And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, Isa, 11:1-2
It's the LORD, It's the LORD, It's the LORD!! The Lord Jesus Christ

the conclusion

copied, ....
I'm sitting here wishing I had something articulate and convincing to say. But all I've got is that I believe the evidence and the logical conclusion. The eye witness testimony and the details aren't fabricated. Historians consider the manuscripts more reliable than any other old texts. I hope you'll take the time to consider the evidence and what it means. It's hard to believe if you don't look at the evidence. You owe it to yourself to look carefully.
I believe that Jesus of Nazareth lived, died, and resurrected. He truly performed miracles. He never died again, but ascended into the clouds.

The conclusion I draw: I believe he was God in the flesh and that he lives. I hope you do too

Happy Easter 2018

Happy Easter
Low in the grave He laid, Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!!
But then,
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph over His foe,
He arose!!
Truly, He arose, He arose!!
Hallelujah, Jesus Christ arose.

Yes, He's a risen Savior and He's in the world today. So today would be a great day for your salvation, for you to be saved, for YOU to accept Christ as your personal Savior.

The Bible says for whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saves, for with the Heart man believe and with mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So make it a Happy Easter, believe in the risen Savior, Jesus Christ!!

May God bless you friend,
